Field Hearing: Voting and Elections in the Dakotas

FORT YATES, N.D. – On April 16, 2019, the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe welcomed the United States House of Representatives Committee on House Administration, Subcommittee on Elections to the Standing Rock Reservation for a field hearing about ‘Voting Rights and Election Administration in the Dakotas.’ The field hearing was held at the Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Council Chamber in the Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Administrative Services Center located at 1 North Standing Rock Avenue in Fort Yates at 10:00 am, Central Time, on Tuesday. Subcommittee Chairwoman U.S. Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-OH) presided over the hearing.
